Life Goes On Tour

Join TMP at the 28th Annual Blue & Gray Reunion in Philippi, West Virginia.

In addition to joining us you can experience a piece of America’s history. You can relive the year 1861, when the First Land Battle of the Civil War was fought. Re-enactors will highlight important moments in the history that gives Philippi its historical significance. Confederate and Union troops will erect campsites which the public is invited to visit. Other activities during the weekend include artillery demonstrations, a little soldiers’ battle, an amputation re-enactment, a grand parade and a horse and buggy parade, live entertainment on the Courthouse Square gazebo, a Civil War ball, a 5K race, kayak and SUP races, a Blue & Gray Community Choir Concert, a quilt show, a pie contest, a pickin’ porch, Courthouse tours, craft park, and food vendors.
